In the farming region where I grew up the most common dairy cattle were Fresians (the black and white ones) and Jersey cattle. I always think of them as Jersey Caramel cows. Were the caramel sweets named after the cows, or the other way around?

Original watercolour on heavyweight French cotton rag paper 150 x 150mm (approx 6x6"). Daily Artwork for 10 March, 2018 - Day No 69 of the year.
