DA109 "Milk Coma" Original Acrylic Ink Painting apx 10x7" plus frame by Jacqueline Hill
Here's little Yindo the baby wombat orphan in a milk coma resting with Roz. Yindo was what Roz calls a MOP wombat where a member of the public has seen a cute baby wombat and decided to take it home and keep as a pet. Feeding them cows milk makes them very ill and they can die. Even if they survived people don't realise that the animal will grow huge and start practicing their defensive weapons (which normal healthy wild animals must do). This one was rescued in time and nursed back to life with the nutrition it needed at Cedar Creek Wombat Rescue Inc and Wombat Hospital and then rehabilitated back into the wild.
