DA231 "Yellow Freesias" Original Acrylic Painting by Jacqueline Hill

I found a lovely bunch of fresh freesia flowers at the market the other day. I can't resist the beautiful fragrance of them. When I was little and living on a farm in country South Australia, they grew wild along the roadside. I have happy memories of me, my Mum and grandma driving around and picking huge bunches of them. They'd fill the farmhouse kitchen with their beautiful smell.

While I painted these bright yellow ones today I could smell their beautiful perfume. Heaven!
